Join us Sunday, October 29 for a celebration of soul food and community as we host Woodlawn Foundation’s inaugural fundraiser: “WOODLAWN SUNDAY DINNER presented by Medical Properties Trust and Protective Life Corporation”.

Chefs from Woodlawn and surrounding neighborhoods will feature down-home dishes and desserts from sacred family recipes as guests dine together at long communal tables along Woodlawn’s iconic 55th Place.

Featured restaurants: Avondale Common House, Bayles Catering, Big Spoon Creamery, MELT, Post Office Pies, Saw’s Soul Kitchen, Woodlawn Cycle Café and more.

Complimentary beer, wine and soft drinks will be served along with sweet tea.

Gospel choirs will start the day’s entertainment before handing off to the blues, rock and soul collective known as Bourbon ‘n Bleach.

All proceeds will benefit Woodlawn Foundation.
